The Scientific Board of Directors guides the Information and Communications Technology Cluster. The Board assists the Cluster in strategic planning, selecting broad areas of research and in the project selection, peer review process. |

Dr. Nicholas D. Georganas, CRC, SITE
Dr. Nicholas D. Georganas, Distinguished University Professor is the Canada Research Chair in the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) at the University of Ottawa. His research interests include multimedia applications, multimedia protocols, intelligent and autonomous agents and performance evaluation.

Mr. Tack Tong, IBM, Toronto
Mr. Tack Tong is a senior software architect in Electronic
Commerce
Development, Toronto Laboratory, IBM Canada. He works in the area
of E-commerce, software engineering, model driven development,
and data access.

Dr. Abdulmotaleb El Saddik,
PREA, SITE
Dr. A. El Saddik is associate professor of Information Technology
and Engineering at the University of Ottawa, and the Leader
of the ICT Cluster of ORNEC. His research interests include
multimedia communications, collaborative haptic audio visual
environments and service oriented architectures.

Dr. Morteza Niktash, E-Government Partnerships, PWGSC
Dr. Niktash is a manager at the E-Government Knowledge Centre in the Information Technology Services Branch (ITSB), Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). He works in the areas of global ICT trends in E-Government, governance and management strategies, applications, and in the implementation of infrastructure services for E-government.

Dr. Bruce Spencer, Group Leader, IIT E-Business, NRC Institute for Information Technology, NRC.
Dr. Bruce Spencer is Group Leader Internet Logic at the NRC institute for Information Technology. His research interests include P3P and privacy, multi-agent e-markets and the semantic web.
